Category: Pomerol

The Pomerol appellation is one of the most prestigious wine appellations in the Bordeaux region of France.

The king grape variety of the Pomerol appellation is Merlot, which represents the majority of the plantations (about 70 to 80%).

Pomerol wines are known for their richness, opulence and velvety texture. They often offer aromas of ripe red and black fruits (plum, cherry, blackcurrant), as well as notes of truffle, cocoa, and sometimes liquorice and leather. With age, Pomerol wines can develop complex nuances and melted tannins, giving them an exceptional character.
